The Sr. Systems Administrator designs, installs, and supports server, storage, and backup solutions for our customers, including both physical and vitual server infrastructures. This position also installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems.

Employment Type: This is a three-month contract position, with a possibility for permanent hire.

Location: Based in the greater Bangor, Maine area

Timeframe: Starting immediately

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise server, NAS, SAN, and backup technologies
• Expert knowledge of Active Directory and Windows 2008 Server administration
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010
• Expert knowledge of VMware virtual infrastructure setup .and management
• Experience with VMware View is a plus
• Strong working knowlege with enterprise backup applications (Commvault, Symantec, etc)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong working knowledge of Netapp storage systems
• Strong working knowledge of NFS, iSCSI and Fibre Channel protocols
• Experience with SAN switches and tape libraries
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operation and administration
• Able to plan, design, implement, and support complex environments
• Able to create and maintain detailed network documentation
• Strong personal and team communication skills
• Supervisory or management experience is a plus

The Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing and supporting Cisco LAN/WAN networks of all sizes and technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently or as part of a team to meet critical implementation deadlines and perform troubleshooting of complex networks.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience building, managing, and supporting complex Cisco networks
• CCNP/CCIP is preferred
• Strong routing and switching experience utilizing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
• Practical experience with multicast technologies and routing is a plus
• Able to plan, design, implement, and support complex multi-protocol environments
• Comprehensive end-to-end understanding of QOS
• Able to design and implement security technologies such as Access Control Lists, Tacacs, PIX/ASA's, IPSEC, etc.
• Broad knowledge of different LAN and WAN technologies
• Solid understanding of Cisco best practices concerning voice and data networks
• Able to create and maintain detailed network documentation
• Basic UNIX / Linux skills
• Knowledge and experience with VoIP is a plus
• Strong personal and team communication skills

• Hunter - Generate new business relationships by working hand-in-hand with marketing to create qualified leads and through personal cold calling and networking
• An initial territory of installed customers will be provided
• Manage a personal prospecting database
• Manage the entire sales process from requirements gathering to sales close
• Write and develop professional proposal content
• Present and articulate advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions
• Engage in weekly forecast activities and monthly/quarterly business reviews

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience selling technology solutions (software, equipment, professional services)
• Proven track record selling IT services and solutions based upon one or more of the following manufacturers: Microsoft, Cisco, Netapp, VMware, Oracle
• Solid oral and written communications skills
• Previous use of CRM or Sales Force Automation tools is a plus
• Technology focused
• Excellent presentation skills
• Four-year degree in business or marketing-related field
